I have been studying at The Yoga Studio, Brinchang for 2 months. I had never heard of Sivananda Yoga before, so I had no idea what to expect. I found that the classes were an interesting mix of sitting meditaion, breathing exercises, and poses. The rest pauses in between the postures help you relax and de-stress completely. The teacher was experienced and knowledgeable. She understood how to pace a class and get the best out of her students. It was one of the best yogas I have tried and would recommend it to anyone.

I started a Beginners Yoga Class a few weeks ago. At first, I was worried that I could not do all of the poses but the teacher guided us and gave many examples. The class didn’t go too quickly, and I could eventually do all of the postures. After the class, I felt very relaxed and I felt my breathing was clearer. I can feel my health improving, so I will continue to practice alone and go to the weekly classes.

I found Sivananda Yoga to be beneficial for my body and mind. I feel calmer and more alive after each class, and I found my health has improved. The teacher, June Ooi is friendly and helpful and takes each students individual problems into account. The classes are small enough to get individual attention, and big enough to make a few friends and meet people of lime mind. Cameron Highlands is a good place to relax for a while, and complements the classes well.
