1. Do I need to bring anything with me?
You can bring your own yoga mat, otherwise we have yoga mats for rent.
2. What should I wear?
Wear loose comfortable clothing.
3. Do you run any Advanced Classes?
We welcome advanced yoga practitioners in our advanced classes. These are mixed ability sessions and there will be advanced variations offered.
4. Can Beginners come to the Open Classes?
Yes, beginners are welcome to our Open Classes. Although you won’t be able to do everything in the class, we will make sure you practice safely at your own level.
5. I am afraid I can’t practice yoga because I am not flexible. Can I join the class?
Yes, definitely you can attend the Open Class. Learning yoga doesn’t mean that you will become a gymnast over night but if you practice with patience and regularity, you will see amazing results.
6. Can I eat before class?
It is highly recommended that you don’t eat for up to 2 hours before a yoga class. However, a light snacks or fruit should be alright.
7. Does practicing yoga prevent diseases?
Yes, a strong immune system is the foundation of a healthy body. Yoga enhances and massages the lymph glands, and helps to boost immunity. It also improves circulation.
8. Which is the best time to practice yoga?
The optimum time to practice is early in the morning, when the stomach is empty and there are few distractions. It is also beneficial to practice in the late afternoon or early evening before dinner. Morning practice keeps your enthusiasm and energy levels high during the day. Evening practice helps relieve accumulated stress and tension.
9. What are the benefits of regular yoga practice?
Yoga can help improve your outlook. Regular practice makes you more productive, calm and happy. It enables you to deal effectively with the challenges and stress of daily life.
10. What physical results can I expect?
The long term practiced benefits are back alignment, weight loss, greater flexibility and strong immune system.
